Jaynelle Stichler

A new health care journal has been launched with SDSU connections. The Health Environments Research and Design Journal (HERD) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal whose mission is to enhance the knowledge and practice of evidence-based healthcare design by disseminating research findings, discussing issues and trends, and translating research to practice.

The co-editor is Jaynelle F. Stichler, DNSc, RN, FACHE, Associate Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing. Dr. Stichler is the Concentration Chair for the Nursing Leadership in Health Systems and teaches graduate classes in Nursing and Health Services Administration.
