Au.D. Program Hosts First Annual White Coat Ceremony

The Audiology Joint Doctoral Program at San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego held its first annual White Coat Ceremony on December 5, 2008.
Over 40 friends, family, and faculty members were in attendance to celebrate the 12 Audiology students for the completion of more than half of the four-year doctoral program requirements and their eligibility for Advancement to Candidacy.
The Audiology Foundation of America and the local chapter of the National Association of Future Doctors of Audiology co-sponsored the event in which students were presented with white coats symbolizing their advancement to candidacy for the doctoral degree.
