Sadanand Singh

Dr. Sadanand Singh will receive the Honors of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association at its annual meeting in Miami in November. The Honors represent the highest award given by this professional association and one rarely bestowed.

Dr. Singh is an internationally known communication scientist, philanthropist, and humanist. He was previously chair of academic departments in the discipline of speech, language, and hearing sciences at three universities including San Diego State University. He is the founder of three publishing houses and a philanthropist who supports access to speech, language, and hearing services and education.

Dr. Singh holds two earned doctoral degrees and three honorary ones. He currently serves on the CHHS Dean's Advisory Board.
