HHS 280 Information, Spring 2008

Health Education for Teachers meets once per semester for about 8 hours. For spring 2008 this will occur Saturday, February 9, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. Fifty percent of this class will be conducted on the internet. Topics designated in health framework for California; infusing health topics in the K-12 general curriculum.

As a one credit hour class, it is expected that there will be 16 hours of class time. There will be 8 hours of class and 8 hours of online exercises. In addition, there will be quizzes, again internet based, on all content areas.

Those who are not already registered for the class must obtain an Add Code from Dr. Ruth Samad. Please email rsamad@mail.sdsu.edu.

Once you have registered for the class, HHS 280 should appear as one of your classes on the BlackBoard site. Login to BlackBoard using your SDSU Red ID and your web portal PIN. Instruction on how to complete the exercises and quizzes will be presented during the class.
