  • Explore health and human services programs south of the border
  • Participate in cultural activities and excursions
  • Visit a local children’s hospital and an orphanage
  • Help build a home for a local family
  • Day-long excursions to Tecate and Ensenada

The Summer 2008 La Gloria program is a 11-day international experience south of the border.

Priority enrollment is for undergraduate premajors, declared majors, and graduating seniors in the College of Health & Human Services. The program is open on a space-available basis to all SDSU students.

The students will be led and accompanied by two Graduate Assistants from CHHS, one of whom is bilingual. In addition, a staff member from Esperanza will participate in all the planned activities.

cost:$1250
includes all transportation from
the Mexican border, room and board,
special excursions, etc (excludes items of a personal nature and several meals)
