This spring, the College of Health & Human Services will hold its 29th commencement for graduates of the nursing, public health, social work and speech, language and hearing sciences schools, as well as the gerontology department.

The 500-plus graduating students will be addressed by commencement speaker John Clapp, Ph.D., winner of the 2005 Monty for Outstanding Alumni and professor in the School of Social Work. Clapp earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from San Diego State University and attended Ohio State University for his doctorate before returning to SDSU.
