    The School of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences currently has several hundred students working towards undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as certificates and credentials. They are engaged in a wealth of academic and public service activities.

    Coursework in American Sign Language is offered through the school and is available to satisfy the Foreign Language requirement for the Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts and sciences. The ASL courses also satisfy the Humanities General Education requirements for the Bachelor's Degree.
