    Phonological Treatment Study

The Project in Cognitive and Neural Development at UCSD and the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department at SDSU are conducting a series of research studies examining how young children process the sounds that make one word different from another.

If you have concerns about your child’s speech, your child is under the age of 7, and English is the main language spoken in your home, your child may be eligible.

Multiple visits are required and families will receive up to $60 for their participation. Eligible children will also receive free speech and language treatment for the duration of the study (3 to 6 months).
