Welcome
I have been awarded a grant from the US Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, to develop and evaluate a quality of life instrument for individuals with adult-onset hearing loss.
This website has been developed to provide a means of communicating with the public about this ongoing research project. This includes individuals who have experienced hearing loss, as well as members of their family, friends, colleagues, and professionals who serve them.
Individuals who are interested in learning more about the project or would possibly like to participate as a research subject can obtain the desired information and sign-up forms through this website. In addition, individuals who have agreed to participate in this study can access the research instruments at this website and communicate with the project's principal investigator.
The ongoing progress and status of the research study will be reported and, eventually, the final quality of life instrument developed will be made available at this website.
