CHHS again number one in grants and contracts per tenure track faculty position at SDSU

August 31, 2013

Once again the CHHS was number one for grant and contract awards per FTE faculty member among all SDSU colleges.  Previous computations suggest that the CHHS is also likely number one among all colleges in the CSU, and equally likely number one as compared to many UC campuses.

Five of the top seven recipients of extramural grants and contracts at SDSU for the last fiscal year, 2012-2013, were CHHS faculty according these data which were just released by the SDSURF.  They are Professors Hovell (number one), Harbert (number two), Woodruff, Ayala, and Talavera.  Two more, Professors Reilly and Elder, were in the top twenty.  The top two recipients for F&A for the University were Professors Hovell and Talavera.
