This year 551 students participated in SDSU’s 9th Annual Student Research Symposium, 25% more than 2015! This event showcases the research and creative activities of our students and their faculty mentors.
Among the many winners was Mr. Brad P. Taylor who received a President’s Award and will go onto the statewide CSU competition this spring. His mentor is Dr. Harsimran Baweja, Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy.
In addition, Dr. Guadalupe X. “Suchi” Ayala, Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health and Human Services, gave the keynote address. She shared her experience developing a program of research as a behavioral scientist seeking to reduce Latino health disparities.
