Congratulations to Drs. Judy Dye (SON), Eileen Pitpitan (SSW), Tianying Wu (SPH), and Tracy Finlayson (SPH) on their recent JumpStart! pilot grant funding from the College of Health and Human Services. This is the inaugural year for the JumpStart! program. The purpose of this pilot grant program is to develop and support interdisciplinary research collaboration within and external to CHHS, generate pilot data for subsequent grant proposal submissions for external research funding, and to help provide solutions to the most pressing health problems facing society today (e.g., health disparities, obesity epidemic, sedentary lifestyles, substance use and abuse, access to healthcare, health equity, etc.).
