Fall 2020

HHS 350: Applied International Health & Human Services, is a 3-unit online course that includes a 9-day international experience. Travel will occur over Summer 2020 and students will subsequently enroll in the online lecture portion of the course during the Fall 2020 semester. HHS 350 satisfies the CHHS International Experience requirement, SDSU’s GE Area B Explorations (Social & Behavioral Sciences) requirement, and the Cultural Diversity requirement.

HHS 350 will be traveling to the following destinations in Summer 2020 (final prices will be based on total number of students enrolled):

  • Tokyo, Japan: Travel occurs May 30-June 7, estimated price – $1,656-1,806
  • Athens, Greece: Travel occurs June 6-June 14, estimated price – $1,521-$1,717
  • Florence, Italy: Travel occurs July 4-July 12, estimated price $1,775-$1,845
  • Dublin, Ireland: Travel occurs August 1-August 9, estimated price – $1,398-$1,595

Students are also required to attend a two pre-departure sessions after confirming their spot on an HHS 350 program. These sessions will be run by the group leaders and cover information about the country’s culture, health and safety and logistics.
