CHHS Faculty Awarded 15 NIH Grant Writing Program Memberships
Fourteen CHHS faculty members, led by Associate Dean of Research Giang Pham, were selected to participate in the competitive 2025 Bouvier Grant Group MSI Partnership Program.
The Minority Serving Institutions grant program awards complimentary one-year memberships and access to comprehensive NIH training resources, a benefit valued at $6,000 per person.
“This opportunity will greatly enhance our faculty’s ability to secure NIH funding,” said Pham. “SDSU is excited to collaborate with Dr. Meg Bouvier and support our CHHS faculty as they prepare their NIH applications in 2025.”
CHHS faculty participants represent the Schools of Social Work, Nursing, Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, Public Health, as well as Global Health. The program includes access to virtual grant-writing resources, six courses from the Grant Writing Starter Bundle series, three live training boot camps, live Q&A sessions, and more.
The Bouvier MSI Partnership Program selects just one Minority-Serving Institution annually to receive 15 no-cost memberships, helping researchers secure more than $500 million in federal funding since 2007.
