Congratulations to Drs. Eyal Oren and Humberto Parada in the School of Public Health for being named inaugural Presidential Research Faculty Fellows! This highly-competitive award goes to just six SDSU faculty each year and will allow Oren and Parada to advance their research agendas, which focus on respiratory health in underserved populations and environmental links to cancer in Latinx communities, respectively.
Mary Hernandez, a master’s student in the School of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, is one of just seven SDSU students chosen for the prestigious California State University (CSU) Sally Casanova Scholars award for the 2021-22 academic year.
Mark Reed, Ph.D., Associate Vice President of Operations at SDSU’s Division of Research and Innovation and Public Health professor in SDSU’s School of Public Health, is one of just three distinguished researchers selected as a 2021 Fellow at the American Academy of Health Behavior (AAHB).
