Congratulations to our 2025 SDSU Student Symposium (S3) award recipients and all CHHS presenters and mentors!

The 18th annual SDSU Student Symposium (S³) on February 28, showcased 500 undergraduate and graduate students, who presented innovative research posters and oral presentations to their peers, parents, faculty, and the greater San Diego community.

A total of 67 CHHS undergraduate and graduate students, along with their mentors, shared their research and scholarly projects. Students addressed a vast range of research projects from STEM engagement in High Schools to health equity and health disparities, noise induced hearing loss, food insecurity, nutrition, environmental health, cancer research and more. SDSU faculty volunteered to moderate and judge outstanding student projects to support and foster academic excellence.

Congratulations to our 2025 CHHS S3 award recipients for their outstanding achievements!
