Five CHHS students are among SDSU’s 2025 Quest for the Best Winners

Quest for the Best is an SDSU Vice Presidential student service award that honors exceptional students demonstrating excellence in academics, student service, community engagement and leadership development.  

Each awardee selects a faculty or staff member who has made a significant and positive impact in their personal growth and academic journey. 

Here are the five CHHS Quest for the Best 2025 awardees and their faculty/staff honorees:

  • Brianna Angel, Senior, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

 Honoree: Taylor Hye

  • Grace Johnson, Junior, Public Health (Pre-med), Honoree: Kara Moriarty
  • Andrew Kawwa, Senior, Public Health, Honoree: Elana Elkin
  • Raha Rafie, Senior, Public Health, Honoree: Elana Elkin
  • Chasley Schoettle, Senior, Dance, Kinesiology (Pre-PT) Honoree: Koko Nishi
